About the Authors

Lisa Joiner has been surviving one mom adventure after another for over 34 years. She is the founding mom of West Point Moms, a Facebook support group for mothers of cadets. She and her husband, Steve, live in Lawrenceville, Georgia, but hope to relocate to a friendly beach town soon(ish). Now an empty nester, she welcomes her first grandchild in July of 2022. She is the mom of a UGA grad and two West Point grads.

Debbie Roszel lives in a big, quiet house in Flowery Branch, Georgia. With five grown and independent children, she and her husband, Rich, now enjoy entertaining and traveling as a couple, and they look forward to doing more of both after retirement. Debbie's highest life goal is to love others; she writes from the heart with a desire to make a difference. Her second book is From Fortress to Freedom, the story of the dismantling of walls that kept her from experiencing the true joy and freedom that exists in God’s creation.
